Meet Shawn Brogan Diddy
Experience
After two decades of experience, from entrepreneurship to start-ups to large international corporations, my passion is teaching and researching management and the workplace. I have worked in w-2, 1099, gig, contract and consultant positions under various management styles around the U.S.. I have also managed diverse teams across the country.
I trained as a teacher and communicator in my undergradute and masters degrees. I completed my Ph.D. courses in an accredited on-campus Management Ph.D. program at MIU and am now in the Walden University Ph.D. completion program with target graduation/ completion date of 2025.
A part of my career includes hosting the first integrated marketing TV program with Food Network's Chef Emeril Lagasse, so I was one of the first "influencers". My experience as part of integrated marketing and management teams of a number of high-profile brands helps me bring current information to my students.
I incorporate media and AI in my teaching methods to address various learning styles and to increase engagement and retention. I want to prepare my students to be critical thinkers and good managers who are prepared for balancing their life goals with the ever-changing career landscape.
